Want something more businessy?

Yep, Iโ€™m human, designing for humans.

Ever since I was a kid, Iโ€™ve had a passion for creativity and found that my best work comes when I collaborate with others. In high school, I took a graphic design class and instantly fell in love with systems thinking and the concept of digital art.

I graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Marketing. While studying, I was growing my design skills on the side with any projects I could get my hands on: brand design, digital illustrations, animation, print design, editorial design, even the dreaded powerpoint designโ€“ yuck. Studying marketing opened my eyes to creative thinking and critical reasoning, and positioned me to become a problem solver rooted in design.

Why product design?

I was introduced to the concept of Product Design in my first job out of college and became fascinated with the connection between problem-solving and design aesthetics. Iโ€™ve gathered that UX design is a practice that aligns with my passion for digital creativity, while helping solve real-world problems. This year, Iโ€™m eager to expand my knowledge of motion design and interested in improving my working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

What about my personal life?

When Iโ€™m not behind the keyboard with an ice coffee, I spend the majority of my time playing outside. Living in โ€˜Sunny San Diegoโ€™, I am often biking, running, rollerblading, or surfing. I am a college football fanatic (go Utah Utes) and love discovering new music that I can bop my head to. I ultimately enjoy connecting with others and sharing memorable experiences. Iโ€™m looking forward to seeing what future design challenges come my way!
